The Highland Mists Art Club proudly presents:
The pony featured is called Scarlet, and she is Tahlise's character at the Highland Mists MLP RPG. She is a bit of a "bad girl" and walks the rough side of life. I got the idea for this image from one of Tahlise's posts where Scarlet's thoughts brush by whatever it is in her life that she's trying to forget, and the sadness those thoughts bring her. I hope I've been reading her correctly there! Anyway, here Scarlet is caught by her sad thoughts... perhaps she's sitting at a table at the Claymore Inn? ^-^ This was extremely fun and challenging to draw, and I enjoyed putting together the pose especially. I'm just sad that the wonderful details of the raised hoof were eventually hidden behind the goblet - I was tempted to make the goblet glass so that the hoof would show, but that just wouldn't have made any sense. XD
